Name |
Kertappa!
Not real. The origin of the word kertappa lies
with a man called GeoffWizz, who mysteriously called me kertappa many years
ago.
As far as I am aware, there is no actual meaning
of the word. Although Geoffwizz has left an explanation in my
guestbook... |

About
The Site |
|
 |
|
|
Founded |
1999 |
|
History |
This site began as a personal
homepage, using free webspace from an Internet Service Provider. After
one year the site was moved to dedicated webspace and the kertappa domain
name was registered.
Over the years the site has been hosted through
three major webhosts, and has had several major design
changes. |
|
Design &
Construction |
The current design of the site
was implemented in February 2006. Both the designing of the site and
the implementation were done by the website owner. The majority
of designing/updating is done using a freeware WYSIWYG HTML Editor. For
more complex coding and addition of scripts, a basic Text Editor is
used. |
Scripts &
Languages |
Most pages on this site are basic
HTML, with a few pages using SSI (SHTML) for loading in additional information.
Other languages currently used include Javascript, CSS, PHP and
CGI. |
